EU Final Decision On Anti-dumping Of Huaka Bus Tires: The Dumping Tax Rate Is Greatly Reduced

As a big manufacturer of rubber auxiliary, Shenyang Sunnyjoint Chemicals Co., Ltd. have just learned from the China Rubber Industry Association that on the evening of October 22, the European Commission announced the final ruling of the EU on the anti-dumping case against Huaka Bus tires (hereinafter referred to as "final ruling"). In the final ruling, the European Commission determined that the truck and bus tires imported from China had dumping behavior in the EU market and caused substantial damage to the EU industry. It decided to impose anti-dumping duties on truck tires imported from China.

From the final result, the final tax rate has dropped sharply compared to the initial tax rate, with an average reduction of around 23%, and the average anti-dumping duty per tire has been reduced by about 17 euros. 

The final ruling will take effect on October 23, 2018. The European Commission will formally impose anti-dumping duties on truck and bus tires imported from China in accordance with the above tax rates. For deposits paid by the importer from the initial ruling to the final ruling (May 8th, 2018 to October 22, 2018), the importer may request the customs to return the difference between the initial ruling rate and the final ruling rate.
