The Second Round Of Environmental Inspections Is Coming. It Is Strictly Forbidden To One Size Fits All.

- Jul 19, 2019-

On June 27, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment said that after the approval of the central government, the second round of the Central Ecological Environmental Protection Inspector will be launched in the near future.

It is reported that the second round of the Central Eco-Environmental Inspector plans to use three years to conduct full coverage inspections, and in 2022, inspectors on some key environmental issues to look back.

The first round of the Central Eco-Environmental Inspector and “Looking Back” lasted for three years to solve the environmental problems surrounding the 150,000 ordinary people.

It is understood that during this period, China's tires and upstream chemical industry have been affected by environmental storms and major changes have taken place.

A large number of enterprises have been forced to suspend production or transformation; major manufacturers have invested heavily in upgrading environmental management equipment; the level of environmental protection in the entire industry has significantly improved.

According to industry insiders, the impact of the second round of central ecological environmental protection inspectors will still affect the entire tire industry chain.

According to reports, unlike the first round of the Central Ecological Environmental Inspector, before the departure of the “Environmental Protection”, the Central Office and the General Office of the State Council jointly issued the “Regulations on the Supervision of the Central Ecological Environment Protection” to standardize the supervision work.

Among the provisions of the Regulations, there are chapters on supervision and discipline. Among them, 6 of them are constrained by inspectors, including strict implementation of the eight central regulations and strict implementation of confidentiality regulations.

After the inspector is over, the inspector team must not only submit the inspector's report, but also submit a report on the party's work style and clean government.

This chapter also specifically reminds the inspected objects that they should adopt a one-size-fits-all approach to central environmental protection inspectors such as centralized shutdown, suspension of production or business suspension, or they will be subject to disciplinary action and administrative sanctions.

In the first round of the Central Environmental Protection Inspector and the “Looking Back” process, there were some places where the “one size fits all” response to the inspectors during the period of the Central Environmental Protection Inspector stationed, which caused a very bad social impact.

The deputy minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment said that in some places, the data is good-looking, and even the boilers that the common people steamed their heads are not allowed to use. This is a high-level blackness against the central government.

The prohibition of "one size fits all" into the "Regulations" is to emphasize that the central ecological environmental protection inspectors must put an end to formalism.
