Properties | White or pale yellow powder, low toxicity. Soluble in organic solvent such as benzene, ethanol, acetone, etc. Insoluble in water. It is considered to be a potential skin sensitizer. |
Uses | A plasticizer for natural rubber and synthetic rubber. Particularly suitable for the production of rubber tires and rubber shoes, hoses and so on. This product is non-polluting, soluble in benzene, ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents. It is insoluble in water, but it will cause slight discoloration in white or light-colored rubber products. It should be used at temperatures above 120 °C, especially suitable for high temperature mixing processing, and should be added at the beginning of mastication. Does not affect the aging properties of rubber products, does not spray frost. The amount is 0.05-0.5 in natural rubber and 0.5-3 in styrene-butadiene rubber. |
