Typical representative of zinc carbamate.Although the critical temperature of vulcanization is low and easy to scorch, the activity is not as good as the promoter PZ when used alone.It is less active than ammonium dithiocarbamate, but its safety is improved.Rubber vulcanization quickly during 120 ~ 135 ℃, curing temperature, curing narrow flatness, easily produced sulfur, so the vulcanizing temperature should not be commonly more than 125 ℃.Adding a small amount of accelerant TMTD,DM, anti-coke agent or anti-aging agent MB to the compound can improve the storage performance of the compound and delay the vulcanization start.If used with ammonium dithiocarbamate or amine promoters, the vulcanization rate can be greatly increased.This product needs to be activated by zinc oxide, but adding a small amount of fatty acids can improve the mechanical properties of vulcanizates.This product is a good active agent of thiazole and sulfonamide promoters.It has a strong activation effect on butyl adhesive containing promoter M,TMTD or the combination of M and TMTD, which can greatly shorten the vulcanization time. It can also be used for epdm, but the activation effect is not as strong as that on butyl adhesive.It is also used as an insoluble promoter in latex and has little effect on its stability.It is commonly used with water-soluble accelerators (such as ammonium or sodium dithiocarbamate) or with other water-insoluble accelerators (such as other zinc dithiocarbamate salts) to increase the rate of vulcanization.When making the second promoter of thiazole promoters in the latex, the obtained products have good aging performance. The product is suitable for white or colourful products and transparent products.It is mainly used for manufacturing latex products, medical products, adhesive tapes and self-sulfur products.
The general dosage of dry rubber is 0.1~1 part, and 0.5~1 part in latex.
