The accelerator NOBS is a post - active quick vulcanization accelerator.Usage is similar with the accelerator CZ, but the longer scorch time, safer operation, after reaching vulcanizing temperature (above 138 ℃), its role. This product is especially suitable for natural and synthetic rubber materials containing alkaline furnace black (such as ultra-abrasion resistant furnace black), vulcanized rubber with excellent physical properties and aging properties.Promoters D,TMTD,ZDC and aldose amine promoters have activation effects.
This product is easy to disperse, do not spray frost, change color slightly. It is used in the tire industry because of its special properties and for products that need to bear great tension. For example: radial tires, conveyor belts, impact pads and shock absorbers, elastic connectors and so on.
NOBS Synthesis route selection
1.Sodium hypochlorite oxidation process
The reaction mechanism of the method is basically the same as the synthesis of promoter CZ.Using morpholine as raw material and promoting the oxidation of M in the presence of sodium hypochlorite, the obtained product has stable quality and high yield.
2.Chloromorpholine process
NOBS can be produced by condensation of n-chlorinated morpholine (4) with promoter M.
