Environmental characteristics: The purpose of this product is to replace the thiuram-like accelerators such as TMTD, mainly because thiuram-like accelerators are prone to produce carcinogenic nitrosamines, while diphenylnitrosamines are not carcinogenic. . TBzTD meets the German “Technical Regulations for Hazardous Substances” TRGS 552 on nitrosamine toxicity and does not release carcinogenic nitrosamine compounds during the vulcanization process.
